Neenah Paper Launches First Offset Heat Transfer Papers
Neenah Paper is launching its first ever heat transfer products for offset printing. Using Iron Man Offset Heat Transfer Papers, printers can easily tap into the nearly $11 billion t-shirt industry with quality that rivals screen and desk top printing processes, and the speed and cost efficiency of traditional offset.
Two versatile brands, Iron Man Offset Heat Transfer Paper for Light Fabrics and Iron Man Offset Heat Transfer Paper for Dark Fabrics, were developed for large volume offset printable heat transfers as well as home applications.
“Iron Man Offset Heat Transfer Papers are easy to print, with make-readies consistent with papers that have a coating,” said Scott Gasch, President of Fey Publishing in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.
As a cost efficient alternative, printers can produce the art or graphics and then supply them to home users to hand iron onto the garment of their choice.
“The t-shirt market presents printers with significant potential,” said Gerry Rector, associate marketing director for Neenah Paper. “Sixty-two percent of Americans own more than 10 decorated T-shirts. This adds up to approximately 1.5 billion t-shirts in closets across America. Iron Man Offset Heat Transfer Papers make decorating these popular garments easier, faster and more economical to help printers realize new income opportunities.”
